Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Crown lengthening maxillary anterior region 2. greater than 18 years of age 3. Adjacent/contralateral tooth present

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant and lactating individual 2. Patient with uncontrolled systemic disease 3. Generalized severe attrition 4. Crowded teeth

1. Gingival marginal change in mm using Williams probe 2. Gingival index using Loe and Sillness index 3. probing depth in mm using Williams probe 4. attachment level in mm using Williams probe 5. crown width to height ratio using Chuâ?? s aesthetic gauge. Timepoint: 1.base line value( before the procedure) 2. 1 month after the surgery.

biologic width assessed using sounding gauge.Timepoint: the measurement is taken just before the crown lengthening procedure is done.
