Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with one or more teeth with radiologically detectable and clinically confirmed dental caries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients presenting with spontaneous pain emanating from a tooth with deep caries. 2)Patients who take anti-inflammatory drugs because of toothache or any other reason. 3) Teeth that do not respond to the cold test and/or show an apical radiolucency.
