Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Subjects who are willing to give informed consent. 2.Subjects in the age group of 25 ââ?¬â?? 55 years. 3.Subjects who have at least 20 functional teeth 4.Subjects with Chronic Generalised Periodontitis. (Which is ââ?°Â¥30% of the sites showing ââ?°Â¥3-4mm of clinical attachment loss with radiographic evidence of bone loss. 5.Subjects with normal body mass index (BMI) (18.5-22.9 kg/meter square) according to the chart for the Asian population given by WHO

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects who are having Systemic diseases or are under regular medications for any systemic diseases. 2.Subjects who are on Anti-inflammatory/Anti-microbial therapy/mouthwashes or any vitamin supplements in the past 3 months. 3.Subjects who have undergone Periodontal Therapy in the last 6 months. 4.Pregnant or Lactating women. 5.Subjects who give a history of previous or current Smoking. 6.Subjects with Special Dietary requirements
