Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged from 14 to 35 years with a history of regular menstrual cycle (28±7 days) with spasmodic dysmenorrhea. 2. Having experienced menstrual pain of intensity from moderate to severe and the Visual Analog Scale > 4 cm for at least three menstrual cycles before this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with secondary dysmenorrhea, and irregular menstrual cycles. 2. Patients using OCPs and contraceptive devices. 3. Patients with systemic diseases and malignancies.
