Health Condition 1: null- Infertile patients undergoing IVF

Interventions

Intervention1: Study group: Luteal phase supplementation in form of Estradiol Valerate 2mg tablet twice a day orally along with injectable micronized progesterone and vaginal micronized progesterone.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women receiving long protocol of down regulation with GnRH agonist and controlled ovarian stimulation with gonadotropins.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Serum E2 >3000pg/ml on day of oocyte retrieval, Diminished ovarian reserve( Day2 serum FSH >10mIU/ml), Endometriosis greater than stage2, Severe male factor(less than 5million/ml motile spermatozoa), Endocrine disorders, Medical or surgical illness.

Pregnancy rate in two groupsTimepoint: After 14days of Embryo transfer.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Serum levels of Ethinyl Estradiol and Progesterone.Timepoint: On the day of oocyte retrieval, day of embryo transfer, three days after embryo transfer and on day day of results, ie, 14days after embryo transfer.
