Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient in the age range of 45-65 years having edentulous maxillary and mandibular ridges. Well-formed residual ridge with adequate inter-ridge space. Residual ridge with the firm mucosa and no inflammation. Patients giving positive informed consent Good neuro muscular control and without TMJ disorder.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of any systemic diseases., Patient with history of bone and neuromuscular disorder, Patient with insufficient inter arch distance,

To evaluate the masticatory efficiency and bite force in complete denture without soft liner after 3 and 6 weeks of adaptation, To evaluate the masticatory efficiency and bite force in complete denture with soft liner after 3 and 6 week of adaptation, To compare the bite force and masticatory efficiency recorded with complete denture at different time interval with and without soft liner. Timepoint: 3week and 6 week
