Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Pregnant women without any systemic conditions in the 1st trimester of pregnancy (9th -12th week of pregnancy) with confirmed singleton gestation. Pregnant women who have a CPI score >= 3 Pregnant women visiting the department of gynaecology during the first 4 months of the study period. Pregnant women whose age is equal to or greater than 18 years of age. Patient who consent to participate.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with any systemic conditions. Patients on antibiotics or corticosteroids therapy. Multiple gestations Patients who have undergone periodontal treatment 6 months prior to the study History of infertility or assisted reproductive technology (ART)
