Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Suspected or confirmed sepsis AND 2. The presence of the evidence of systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) criteria AND 3. Evidence of either refractory hypotension OR hypoperfusion.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Primary cardiac illness 2. Refusal to give consent for the study
