Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To quantify the influence of different head and neck positions namely neutral, maximum flexion and maximum extension on oropharyngeal leak pressure , cuff pressure using pediatric Ambu aura in pediatric populationTimepoint: Oropharyngeal leak pressures and cuff pressures will be measured at the end of maximum flexion, maximum extension and neutral positions | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To assess Fibreoptic views by passing a fibreoptic scope through the airway tube to a position 1cm proximal to the end of the tubeTimepoint: Brimacombe score: 1-vocal cords not seen, 2- vocal cords plus anterior epiglottis seen, 3- vocal cords plus posterior epiglottis seen, 4 – only vocal cords visible.;To assess ventilation scoreTimepoint: scored from 0 to 3,based on three criteria: no leakage with an airway pressure of 15cm H2O,bilateral chest excursions with peak inspiratory pressure of 20cm H2O and a square wave capnogram ,each item scoring 0 or 1. | — |
