Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The patients between the age group of 30- 75 years of both sexes were selected for the study 2. Diagnostic criteria is mainly based on elevated fasting blood sugar > 126 mg/dl and post prandial blood sugar >160 mg/dl and also random blood sugar level >140 mg/dl 3. Cases which are already diagnosed and who are on other system of medicine treatment will also be taken into consideration 4. The patients of different socio-economic status were included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Cases with advanced pathological conditions like diabetic nephropathy, diabetic retinopathy,diabetic ketoacidisis and diabetic foot were excluded 2. Patients with major illness like bronchial asthma, COPD, Blood disorders, malignancies , cardiovascular diseases and hepatobiliary diseases are excluded
