Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with ingrown toenails attending skin OPD with stage I disease( any age, both males and females), symptomatic and showing recurrence with conservative management. 2. Patients ( any age, both males and females) with ingrown toenails attending skin OPD with stage II and III disease
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with peripheral vascular disease, Raynauds phenomenon, systemic sclerosis or with any other contraindications to use of local anesthetic with vasoconstrictors. 2. Patients with co morbidities like uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, uncontrolled hypertension and patients on long term steroids or onimmunosuppressant. 3. Patients having allergy or sensitivity to phenol or history of prolonged wound healing with phenol use. 4. Patients allergic to lignocaine.
