Intervention1: Suture loop method arm: Removal of DJ stent under sedation by using a loop of suture in a per urethral catheter. Control Intervention1: Cystoscopy Arm: Cystoscopic removal of DJ stent

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Lower end of DJ stent in bladder as seen on X ray KUB Patient/Guardian consents for the study No Suspected bladder or lower ureteric pathology requiring a diagnostic cystoscopy in the same setting

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient/Guardian does not consent for the procedure. Suspected bladder or lower ureteric pathology requiring a diagnostic cystoscopy in the same setting Doubt regarding presence of lower end of the stent within the bladder Need for stent exchange in the same sitting
