Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Changes in the pupillometric variables within a patient over time can indicate the autonomic dysfunction. This change can be assessed preoperatively. Thus the severity of the hypotension can be predicted and necessary precautions can be taken to overcome the complications.Timepoint: blood pressure will be measured in every 5 minutes after spinal anesthesia | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To assess the vasopressor requirement intra-operatively.Timepoint: intra-operative if Blood pressure falls 20% below baseline | — |
