Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults posted for mandibulectomy ASA PS 1&2 Who have given consent for the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal for consent, severe systemic illness, posted for arch mandibulectomy, coagulation abnormalities,, infection/ tutor at the site of block

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Consumption of opioids in the intraoperative periodTimepoint: During Tongue stitch , Dental extraction, condylotomy/osteotomy, Rise in Vitals more than 20% baseline value anytime during the procedure

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Hemodynamic stability in intraoperative periodTimepoint: Vital monitoring will be done every 5 minutes, during tongue stitch, dental extraction, condylotomy, osteotomy
