Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: American society of anesthesiologist (ASA) Physical status II or III.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Un co-operative and unwilling parturients. 2. Parturients with : a)History of anaphylaxis to local anesthetics, opioids and/or drugs to be used. b)current or past history of drug abuse c)Psychiatric disease. d)Inablilty to understand Visual Analouge Scale (VAS). 3. Failed spinal anesthesia and conversion to general anesthesia. 4. Planned general anesthesia

Analgesic consumption [ Time Frame: 24 hours post-surgery ] Total analgesic consumption in the 24hours postoperative period was recorded.Timepoint: Post-operative pain scores and analgesic requirement was recorded along with hemodynamic parameters for a period of 24 hours at 0 min, 30 mins, 1 hours, 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours, 16 hours, 20 hours and 24 hours. | — |
