Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed patients of Madatyaya (alcohol withdrawal symptoms) willing to participate in the study and sign the informed consent form. Patients between the age group of 18 to 50 years irrespective of gender, religion and socioeconomic status.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The patients suffering from other systemic diseases like diabetes mellitus and uncontrolled hypertension. The patients suffering from complications of alcohol like liver cirrhosis, ascitis The patients suffering from organic brain diseases. Severe withdrawal complications like dehydration and electrolyte imbalance, status epilepticus and delirium tremens. Patients suffering from other psychiatric ailments.
