| LLLT would act as an adjunct to PRF to initiate early bone healing and accelerate osseointegration in low-density bone.Timepoint: T1: immediately after implant placement T2: 1 week after implant placement T3: 1 month after implant placement T4: 3 months after implant placement | — |

|---|---|
| Bone quality is a crucial factor for the success of osseointegrated implants. However, with regard to the rehabilitation of low-density bone, seen often in posterior maxilla, the success rates are not promising. The artificial membranes used to enhance the osseointegration are generally expensive with a possibility of disease transmission; nevertheless, a product from the patientâ??s own blood such as Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) would act as a supplement to the procedure of tissue regeneration.Timepoint: T1: immediately after implant placement T2: 1 week after implant placement T3: 1 month after implant placement T4: 3 months after implant placement | — |
