Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All intramural term and preterm babies greater than equal to 35 weeks gestational maturity who develop unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia and on follow-up presenting with jaundice requiring readmission.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Babies who had received intra uterine transfusion in ABO and Rh incompatibility. b. Babies with conjugated hyperbilirubinemia c. Age of neonate greater than 30 days d. Gestational age below 35 weeks
