Intervention1: Dexmeditomedine local infiltration Block: local infiltration of 11.5 ml of 2% lignocaine with adrenaline (1:200000) dilution with 0.5ml (50Âµg) of dexmedetomidine Control Intervention1:

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 and 2 Scheduled to undergo Tympanoplasty or Septoplasty under General anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Allergy to any drug used Organ dysfunction Coagulation disorder Local infection at the site of block Pregnant and lactating women
