Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Study subjects (from TMH): Group I.Women with established cervical cancer Control subjects (from KEM Hospital): Group II. HPV infected women having normal cervix (PV examination and Pap smear results) Group III. Women without any genital infection and having normal cervix (PV examination and Pap smear results)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Women with any other cancer will be excluded from the study.

| Comparing the polymorphisms/expression seen in NK cell receptors may highlight, which genes/genotypes or polymorphisms are associated with susceptibility to HPV infection, persistent infection and further with development of cervical cancer. In future, identification of such susceptible or protective host factors/genes may be useful for the benefit of the case management.Timepoint: Study period 3 years | — |
