Intervention1: Subjects practicing yoga: 60 minutes of yoga practice 5 days a week. Control Intervention1: Subjects not practicing yoga: People residing in gautam nagar delhi

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Residents of Delhi for atleast 6 months 2. Newly Joined subjects in the selected courses at MDNIY new delhi from 1st september

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients who are already suffering form non communicable diseases. 2. Subjects with past history of practice of yoga.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
reduction in waist circumferenceTimepoint: day 0, after 3 months and after 6 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
reduction in weight, hip circumference, blood pressure, BMI, Waist hip ratio, unhealthy diet,physical inactivity, tobacco use and alcohol consumption.Timepoint: day 0, after 3 months and after 6 months.
