Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Newly diagnosed acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients attending JIPMER medicine/ medical oncology OPD 2) Receiving chemotherapy (in either induction phase or Maintenance phase) 3) Seronegative for HBsAg 4) Anti HBs 5) Normal liver function test

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients already having Hepatitis B infection 2) Patients with immunocompromised state due to any other reason (e.g. HIV)
