Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients with symptomatic esophageal diverticulae

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 >Patients who are below 18 years age 2 >Patients who are pregnant or breast feeding 3 >Patients who are unable to give consent 4 >Patients unable to have short general anaesthesia

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Resolution of symptoms (dysphagia score, regurgitation, weight gain)Timepoint: Patients will be assesed at week 4,12 and 56.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Technical success- This is defined as an adequate length myotomy to resolve the diverticulum Treatment success- Relief from the symptoms of dysphagia, regurgitation. Technical failure- Failure to form a sub mucosal tunnel and adequate myotomy Procedural duration â?? Time taken for the myotomy Length of hospital stay for any complications OGD findings on Month 1,3 12 Timepoint: Patients will be assessed at week 4,12 and 56.
