Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All babies born at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital at gestational age >=35 weeks of gestation in whom delayed cord clamping practice is followed will be eligible for enrollment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Baby with Craniofacial anomalies, chromosomal disorders, haemolytic disease, multiple gestation, third-trimester maternal infection, chorioamnionitis, APGAR score

MeasureTime frame
ABR Wave latencies in neonates with latent iron deficiency and normal iron status at 4-6 months of age. Neurodevelopmental outcome in neonates with latent iron deficiency and sufficient iron status at 4-6 months of age. Timepoint: Eligible babies will be enrolled at birth and will be followed at 4-6 months of age
