Intervention1: Kapikacchu Yapana basti: To prepare KapikacchuYapanaBasti, the contents of it are mixed in a particular fashion as mentioned in classics i.e. initially 200 ml Madhu and 12gms of Saindha

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aging between 20 to 80 years 2. Patients of either gender. 3. Patients fulfilling the criteria of diagnosis of Parkinsonâ??s disease. 4. Patients who are fit for Basti. 5. Patient willing to sign informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary Parkinsonism, Parkinson plus syndrome, Brain tumour. 2. Patients who are unfit for Basti.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. Chestsanga: slowness and poverty of movements. 2. Kampa (Resting tremor): at least in one limb. 3. Sthamba (Rigidity): In any group of muscles in extremities. 4. Avanamana (Postural changes): Which includes signs like Rombergism. 5. Vakvikruti: Ekshruti (monotony) and Kala (low) speech. 6. Gatisanga: Slow stepped & short stepped gait with proplusion & retropulsions. Timepoint: 18 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Hand Grip power 2. Foot pressure 3. Picking of pins with hands 4. Walking time 5. Buttoning time Timepoint: 21 days
