Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of schizophrenia (DSM V) Clinical Global Impression â?? Severity (CGI-S) Score equal to or more than 3 Age range 18 to 45 years Both sexes Written informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Risk of harm to self (for example suicidal risk) or others (for example aggression). Need for Electroconvulsive therapy Subjects who are already practicing/ recent practice of yoga/ meditation. Co-morbid substance dependence in the past 6 months or substance abuse in the past 1 month as per DSM V, except nicotine. Significant neurological disorder including seizure disorder or recent head injury. Family history of neurological disorder that may complicate diagnosis (for example Huntingtonâ??s chorea) Pregnancy or postpartum (6 weeks after delivery)
