Interventions

Intervention1: Music Therapy: Sedative music (with a rate of 60-80 beats per minute, sedative music is operationalized without lyrics and with a sustained melodic quality). Frequency-1 session per day

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age group 30-80 years, either gender, CABG on-pump, Cut-off range for anxiety-above 7 in Hospital Anxiety and Depression Score.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are having hearing impairments, Patients after post op day 7, Patients with multiple procedure (CABG+ valve replacement), Patients who have music disinterest.

Hospital Anxiety & Depression score (HADS). Timepoint: Pre operative day and post operative day 2 and 7.

MeasureTime frame
6 Minute walk test, SF-36. Timepoint: Pre operative day and post operative day 7.
