Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having features of Mukhapaka (vrana, ruja,ragata)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with oral carcinoma Patients diagnosed with leukoplakia Ulcers of more than 14 days. Oral ulcers due to chemotherapy.

MeasureTime frame
Oral ulcer activity - number, colour, size, site, duration and ulcer free period. Ulcer related pain - evaluated on visual analogue scale (VAS). Functional status - evaluating effects of oral ulcer on tasting, speaking, eating, chewing, and swallowing. Timepoint: Oral ulcer activity-everyday for 7 days. Ulcer related pain-everyday for 7 days. Functional status-everyday for 7 days.—
