Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1- patients with chronic periapical pathology 2- Aged 18 â?? 40 yrs 3- Mandibular and maxillary anterior teeth

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1- Previous history of periapical surgery 2- Smokers and other abusive habits 3- Systemically compromised patients 4- Patients on statins 5- Patients not willing for treatment

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome will be bony healing of the periapical area which will be evaluated after 3, 6 and 12 months postoperatively with CBCT Timepoint: 6 months and 12 months postoperatively with CBCT

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
swelling, pain, pus discharge or presence of sinus will be evaluated after 1 week clinically post operativelyTimepoint: 1 week postoperatively
