Health Condition 1: null- cholelithiasis for cholecystectomy

Interventions

Intervention1: 2mg or 4mg of dexamethazone: 1ml of either 2mg or 4mg of dexamethazone IV after induction of anesthesia. Blood glucose levels were measures as base line and after 1,2,4 6 12 and 24 hrs.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy procedures which require general anesthesia. 2.ASA I ,II 3. Age group 18- 60 yrs 4. BMI

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. ASA III,IV 2. Lap cholecystectomy surgeries that are converted to open procedures. 3. Patients with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus 4. Patients with associated pancreatic tumors. 5.Patients with associated adrenal tumors. 6.Patients with associated migraine. 7. Patients with BMI > 30 kg/m2.
