Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients presenting with classical signs and symptoms of Tamaka Shwasa like Pinasa, shwasm pran pidanam, kanthe ghurghurakam etc. Mild to moderate persistent cases of Bronchial Asthma

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe complicated cases of Bronchial Asthma like status asthmaticus Uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus & Hypertension Dyspnoea resulting from cardiac origin, anaemia Patients suffering from tuberculosis, malignancy, COPD, and other chronic debilitating diseases Pregnant and lactating mothers

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in clinical symptoms of Asthma like Breathlessness, cough, wheezing etc. asthma per week, frequency of asthmatic attacks before and after treatment. PEFR, AEC etc laboratory investigations will be observed before and after treatment. Timepoint: 28 days
