Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult DM patients up to 65 years of age 2. Undergoing treatment for at least 1 year 3. Owns a mobile phone 4. willing to receive SMS messages for at least 3 months 5. can operate mobile phone to read SMS messages in either Hindi (in devanagari script) or English languages

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diabetes Mellitus patients undergoing treatment for severe debilitating illnesses like cancer, heart failure, renal failure (on dialysis), mental health illnesses, etc
