Intervention1: Oromotor stimulation: The oral stimulation program was administered by Pediatric Physiotherapist (trained in giving oral stimulation), twice a day from the day of initiation of oral fee

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Preterms born between 30- 34 weeksâ?? gestation age, hemodynamically stable and receiving at least 200 ml/kg motherâ??s milk as gavage feeds were included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neonates with medical complications like grade III or IV intraventricular hemorrhage, severe perinatal asphyxia, severe sepsis, congenital disease or malformation and those on formula feeds were excluded. The babies who deteriorated or became unstable during intervention period, were also excluded from the study.
