Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Histological diagnosis of cervical cancer. 2. FIGO stage IB to IVA. 3. Good performance status, suitable for curative chemoradiotherapy. 4. Consenting for participation and follow up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Operated cases of cervical cancer. 2. Previous history of pelvic irradiation. 3. History of pelvic trauma. 4. Patients on hormone replacement or long term corticosteroids.

The purpose of our study is to prospectively analyse the changes in bone density of the pelvic bones in the irradiated area, in patients of cervical cancer treated with CRTTimepoint: 2 YEAR

MeasureTime frame
to correlate these changes with occurrence and severity of persistent low back ache.Timepoint: 1 YEAR
