Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed as CSOM after thorough clinical evaluation 2.Patients who were not on antibiotic(both systemic and topical) treatment for minimum of 24 hrs prior to sample collection. 3.Safe (T/T) CSOm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients suffering from CSOM whoa re on systemic antibiotics or topical medications to ear. 2.Patients not willing to participate in the study. 3.Unsafe (A/A) CSOM.

Measure	Time frame
Gram positive organisms like Staph.Aureus (35%) isolated sensitive to Cotrimoxazole, Gentamycin. Gram negative Organisms like Pseudomonas (31%), Klebsiella (17%)isolated sensitive to Ciprofloxacin, Meropenam.Timepoint: 80 % similar to previous studies.	—

Secondary

Measure	Time frame
64 % Male, 35 % Female. Associated Factors were Poor hygiene (60%) and URTI (40%).Timepoint: 75% similar to previous studies.	—
