Intervention1: Videos educating on lifestyle modification: 4 weekly sessions of approximately 90 minutes each [60 minutes video and 30 minutes of discussion] Intervention2: Yoga: 13 classes over 4 mon

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. T2DM patients with HbA1C 7.5 to 10%. 2. Age of onset of DM more than 30 years. 3. Willing to come for Yoga sessions/Video sessions/study visits in AIIMS as per module 4.Taking stable oral anti-diabetic medication for last 3 months and not on insulin.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Terminal illness. 2. Known case of cancer. 3. Nephropathy with CKD stage 4 and 5. 4. Severe Non proliferative diabetic retinopathy, proliferative diabetic retinopathy, or macular edema. 5. Serious suicidal ideation (reflected by a score of â??3â?? for PHQ-9 item no9) or was deemed to have severe depression warranting specialized and or inpatient psychiatric care by the evaluating diabetes physician. 6. Currently under a psychiatristâ??s care or using antipsychotic medications, mood stabilizers, or had diagnosed dementia, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia. 7. Any cardiovascular event requiring hospitalization in last 6 months. 8. Active diabetic foot ulcer
