Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA I and II patients posted for elective surgery under general anesthesia requiring laryngeal mask airway

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Emergency and non fasted patients(for 6 hours of solids) Surgeries requiring non supine positions, ENT, Head and neck surgeries, airway surgeries and Intraperitoneal procedures. Facial abnormalities Recent history of LRI/URI Previous history of gastric acid peptic disease Previous history of COPD/asthma Smokers Diabetics Known case of CKD and chronic H/o PONV or H/o symptomatic GERD Obesity >35Kg/m-2
