Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18-65 years of both sexes 2.Patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) Grade I & II 3.Patients scheduled for lower limb surgeries
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with infection at the site of injection. 2.Patients undergoing hip surgery. 3.Patients with known history of allergy to the study medications. 4.Patients with bleeding dyscrasias; or on anti-coagulant therapy. Patients with neurological disorders and neuropathy. Patients in whom the block in ineffective (in these patients, general anaesthesia will be supplemented).
