Health Condition 1: null- complex regional pain syndrome,post herpetic neuralgia,vaso occlusive conditions,phantom limb syndrome,hyperhydrosis of palm,neuropathic pain syndromes of cancer

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: complex regional pain syndrome of head,neck and upper limb,post herpetic neuralgia,phantom limb syndrome,vasoocclusive conditions with numeric pain intensity scale >4

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: extremes of age( >60 and 25 and <18),patients on beta blocker,patients with upperlimb cellulitis,recent myocardial infarction,glaucoma,pathological bradycardia,deranged coagulation profile

Primary

MeasureTime frame
pain assessed with numeric pain intensity scale occurrence of dysphagia,hoarseness of voice,foriegn body sensation in the throat,hematoma and vascular injury in the neck,weakness of the upper limb,respiratory depressionTimepoint: numeric pain intensiy scale would be used to assess pain after 30 min of block occurrence of complications would be assessed after 30 min of block

MeasureTime frame
increase in skin temperature on the side of block reduction in edemaTimepoint: increase in skin temperature would be assessed after 30 min of block in celcius scale reduction in edema of upperlimb in cases of complex regional pain syndrome after 30 min of block
