Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Adult patients (Age > 18 yrs ) 2.Acute circulatory failure 3.Receiving protective lung ventilation 4.With cardiac output monitoring using Flotrac/Volume View with Phillips Intel View monitor (MP700) 5.Treating physician has decided to give fluid bolus
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Cardiac arrhythmias, Acute myocardial infarction 2.Previously known significant valvular disease or intracardiac shunt 3.Air leakage through chest drains 4.Right heart failure 5.An urgently required fluid challenge 6.Abdominal compartment syndrome, and pregnancy
