Interventions

Intervention1: Madhutailika basti, Dhanyamla dhara and shamana: Madhutailika basti will be given per rectally OD for 8 days, Dhanyamla made warm will be poured over the affected part OD for 15 days, B

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Longstanding and uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus along with the presence of symptoms and signs of Diabetic peripheral neuropathy (polyneuropathy). 2. Symptoms may include: a.) Decreased sensation b.) Positive neuropathic sensory symptoms predominantly in the toes, feet or legs. 3. Signs may include: a.) Decreased distal sensation b.) Unequivocally decreased or absent ankle reflexes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with - 1. Ischemic heart diseases 2. Non-Diabetic Neuropathies 3. Acute complications of DM 4. Any kind of infection 5. Diabetic foot 6. Piles 7. Fissures 8. Fistulas 9. Myocardial Infarction 10.Cerebrovascular event 11.Cardiac arrhythmias 12.Pregnancy 13.Active malignant disease
