Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with ulcerated lesions ( suspected tuberculosis in small bowel and colon) within the reach of colonoscope 2 sets of biopsies will be taken first 4 biopsies will be labelled as Bottle 1 and second 4 biopsies as Bottle 2
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients whose colonoscopy was normal 2.Patients whose colonoscopy showed lesions that met the inclusion criteria but had additional features that suggested another etiology (for example, patients with mass lesions that raised a suspicion of neoplasm) 3.Patients with small lesion(s) in whom obtaining specimens for histology as well as eight biopsy specimens for culture was not possible
