Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Preterm infants less than or equal to 28 weeks and/or less than or equal to 1 kg birth weight and recruited at the time of birth
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of clinical chorioamnionitis 2. Monochorionic twins/triplets/Quadruplets 3. Anomaly of the cord like true/False knots, Stricture 4. Funisitis of the cord 5. Major congenital anomalies in the infant like Gastroschisis, Exomphalos 6. Rh isoimmnisation 7. HIV positive mother 8. Hydrops fetalis 9. Cord Blood Banking 10. Placenta accreta/Marginal insertion/Battledore placenta/Velamentous insertion
