Interventions

Intervention1: Terbinafine, Itraconazole, Fluconazole, Griseofulvin: 1. Terbinafine (7.5mg/kg/day) 2. Itraconazole (5mg/kg/day) 3. Fluconazole (5mg/kg/day) 4. Griseofulvin (children 18 years)10mg/kg

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with tinea (tinea corporis, tinea cruris,tinea faciei)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy or lactation 2. History of drug allergy to any of the four drugs 3. Inability to come for follow up every 2 weeks 4. Presence of other diseases requiring systemic therapy 5. Significant abnormality in CBC, LFT, RFT, Plasma glucose (fasting and postprandial), HbA1C, Fasting lipid profile, Urine routine and microscopy, ECG
