Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who had been diagnosed as Schizophrenia or Alcohol Dependence for more than 1 year. 2. Caregiver is above 18 years of age. 3. Caregiver is living with patient for atleast 1 year. 4. Caregiver has been closely involved in his/her activities of daily living, health care, and social interaction. 5. Those who give consent to participate in study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Caregiver is less than 18 years of age. 2. Caregiver is not living with the patient. 3. Alcohol dependence in Schizophrenia patients. 4. Any Psychotic Condition other than Schizophrenia. 5. Caregiver with severe mental illnesses. 6. Those unable to give verbal replies. 7. Those who do not give consent to participate in study.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess the severity of burden on caregivers who are relatives of patients with schizophrenia or alcohol dependence. To assess the quality of life of caregivers who are relatives of patients with schizophrenia or alcohol dependence.Timepoint: After Completion of Study
