Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Patients with primary adult glaucoma (POAG, PACG) • Age >40 years • Not controlled on maximum topical medical therapy (using 3 or more topical medications) for over 6 months • Patients willing to participate and able to comply with study procedures.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • One eyed patients • Age • Neovascular, uveitic, aphakic glaucoma and other causes of secondary glaucoma • History of previous glaucoma surgery or SLT • Cataract surgery within past 12 months • History of diabetes or any other systemic illness. • Any other chronic illness requiring anti-inflammatory therapy. • Pregnant or breast feeding women.
