Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with head injury, on mechanical ventilation for more than 24 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with known underlying systemic disease 2. Children with previously known neurological disorder 3. Children with chronic respiratory disease 4. Syndromic children 5. Unplanned extubation 6. Children tracheostomized without an extubation trial 7. Parents or guardians not giving consent
