Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.patients giving informed consent 2.with type A1 and A2 fractures 3.age >60 yrs

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.patients not giving informed consent 2.unstable type A3 and A4 fractures 3.pathological fractures 4.fractures associated with head injury and major spinal injury 5.younger than 60 yrs of age
