Intervention1: allopurinol: Allopurinol dose 10mg/kg. 1st dose 16 hrs before surgery 2nd dose 8hrs before surgery 3rd dose on the morning of surgery 4th and 5th dose in post operative period 12 hrly

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: paediatric patients with diagnosis of tetralogy of fallots

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: children with syndrome, emergency cases, compplicated tetralogy of fallots.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Mechanical ventilation time, icu stay, inotriopic scores,cardiac index.Timepoint: cardiac index at day 0 day 1 and day 2. intropic scores for day 0 day 1 and day 2 of operation.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
sod,mad and il6Timepoint: biochemical markers will assessed in blood immediately after aortic cross clamp relies, after coming off bypass, on day 1 and day 2.
