Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Sick children aged 1-month to less than 13 years undergoing imaging scan (CT) with contrast media injection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients without renal function assessment either before or following contrast media in-jection. 2. Known cases of chronic renal disease. 3. Children admitted for less than 48 hours. 4. Children with serum bilirubin of more than 5mg/dl.

To investigate the early diagnosis of CI-AKI by measurement of blood NGAL.Timepoint: during 48 hours and 30 days;To study the risk factors and prognostic impact of contrast induced acute kidney injury.Timepoint: during 30 days;To study the unfavorable outcome among the enrolled patients (defined as a need for hospital readmission within 30 days, need for PICU admission within 30 days, or 30-day mortality).Timepoint: during 30 days
